Welcome To

Little Skippers is a new school. Owner Sarah Nemitz brings ten years of experience caring for children as both a teacher and school director. In that time she noticed that while schools typically balanced the needs of children and parents, support for teachers often fell short. Creating an atmosphere of respect and nurture for the teacher/caregiver is at the heart of Little Skippers.

Teachers will be given hands-on training and on-call support in all aspects of their classroom caregiving. Directors and the owner will be actively involved, coaching teachers and fostering communication with parents

To provide the tools for children to succeed in all aspects of life.

Building a welcoming and balanced community between parents and teachers.

Children grow confident and successful when they learn how to grow in their environments.

Little Skippers will strive to meet the emotional, intellectual, physical, and social needs of the infants in their care. This will be done by speaking to each child, reading, encouraging tummy time, walking, and playing with age-appropriate toys.
